LOCATION! My family and I have stayed in the Outer Bank many times, and we have never been in a house this close to the ocean. We have stayed on the beach but there were long walkways over dunes. Not here…you are ON the beach!! It was so fantastic to sit and gaze out at the water through the windows or from the deck. Really nice to see dolphins and pelicans. It was also ideal for my dad who recently had a knee replacement, it wasn’t too many stairs for him to handle and he was able to walk out onto the beach with ease. Communication with Elizabeth was great! Plenty of seating and the kitchen was super clean, plenty of room for our party of six to sit together.
